"Recognition of Prior Learning" New Chapter Promotion Ceremony

The HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), newly appointed as the Assessment Agency for "Recognition of Prior Learning" (RPL) for the Property Management Industry, jointly organised the "Recognition of Prior Learning" New Chapter Promotion Ceremony with the Qualifications Framework Secretariat (QFS) on 9 July 2026. The Ceremony aimed to promote the RPL mechanism for the property management and security services industries, and received widespread support from the two industries with approximately 80 industry professionals in attendance. In addition to representative from the Education Bureau and members of the Industry Training Advisory Committees (ITACs) of both industries, Dr. James Wong Kong-tin, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Property Management Services Authority, Dr. Chan Ho-wah, Vice-Chairman of the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority, and representatives from 22 industry organisations attended to express their full support for promoting the RPL mechanism.
