Consultation Session on the SCS-based Training Package on “Training for Care Workers” Course

The Elderly Care Service Industry Training Advisory Committee completed the drafting of the SCS-based Training Package on “Training for Care Workers” Course.  An industry consultation on the draft training package was conducted from 17 February to 31 March 2025 with a consultation session held on 11 March to introduce the draft training package in detail and solicit views of different stakeholders for enhancement. 

Dr the Honourable LAM Ching-choi, SBS, JP, Chairperson of the Elderly Care Service Industry Training Advisory Committee delivered the welcoming remark for the consultation session.  Professor Sylvia FUNG Yuk-kuen, BBS, Convenor of the Education and Training Sub-committee made an introduction on the development of the training package.  The representative of the professional writer presented the draft content of the training package.  The consultation session attracted nearly 60 representatives from the industry and training providers.
