The Jewellery Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) has completed the draft "Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)" for industry consultation. Views from relevant trade associations, unions and related organizations in the industry will be solicited. The consultation period will last for three months, from 1 March 2008 to 31 May 2008, while an industry consultation session has been scheduled for 19 April 2008.
