Consultation on the SCS for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Industry

The ICT Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) conducted an industry-wide consultation on the draft "Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)" in respect of the ‘Software Products and Software Services’(SW) branch from February to May 2007. Under the guidance of the SCS Subcommittee, Professional Writer revised the draft SCS in the light of comments collected during the consultation period. With the endorsement of ICT ITAC, the first version of SCS can be downloaded from this website.

Views or suggestions on the first version of the SCS are welcome and can be reached to the ICT ITAC Secretariat by email at hkqf@edb.gov.hk. The SCS Review and Maintenance Subcommittee will follow up on the comments in order to improve the SCS in the long run.
