The Beauty Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) has completed the "Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)" for the industry. Parties consulted include various trade associations, trade unions, professional bodies and related organizations. The consultation period commenced on 16 November 2009 and continued for a period of 6 months to 15 May 2010. Several consultation sessions have been held to seek stakeholders' views on the content and relevance of the SCS. The full version of the SCS (Version 1) can be downloaded from this website.
