The Automotive Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) has completed the "Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)" for Automotive industry. Parties consulted include various trade associations, trade unions, professional bodies and related organizations. The consultation period commenced on 1 September 2008 and continued for a period of 4 months to 31 December 2008. 11 consultation sessions have been held to seek stakeholders’ views on the content and relevance of the SCS.
