The Qualifications Framework Support Schemes (QFSS) are launched to assist and encourage education and training providers in seeking accreditation of their programmes and register the qualifications and programmes in the Qualifications Register (QR). QFSS are time-limited and non-recurrent financial assistance schemes approved by the Finance Committee of Legislative Council. These schemes include:

For Education and Training providers (including organisations providing in-house training courses)

1. Accreditation Grant for Self-financing Programmes
2. Grant for Programme Area Accreditation
3. Subsidy for QR Registration Fees
4. Development Grant for Specification of Competency Standards-based Courses

For Industry practitioners

5. Reimbursement of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment Fees
